Well, finals this week. I really should be studying, but im thinking too much of my cosplays for this year... D:

YAY!!!!!!!
Katsucon was so fun this year! Except for the fact that I got a major headache towards the end (no thanks to the headband I was wearing [I think], and had to make my friends [and me] miss the rave... TT_TT).
Im soooo happy that a lot of people liked my cosplay and told me that I made a great Toph on Saturday!
I saw a lot of other great cosplays also and I wish I had taken theirs and others pictures then.... TT_TT

Sunday was awesome also. I bought a lot of stuff which included:
Buttons, 10 to be exact (A Tamaki and Haruhi button, 3 japanese fashion buttons, a Toph button, 3 Code Geass buttons [of Lelouch, C.C., and Karen], and 2 Card Captor Sakura 2nd movie buttons [of Sakura and Syaoran, they're soooo cute!!!]
Artwork, of Link from Twilight Princess, and Midna from Twilight Princess (human version)
A tee-shirt, of the Tri-Force from Zelda: OoT
Mini figurines, a set of 5 from Shakugan no Shana
A pin, of Suigintou (of which my friend copied me and got the exact same one I got... ¬_¬)
And various manga.
I was so sad to find that they didnt have the calendar I wanted there. Since I got last years calendar at Katsucon I was hoping that they would have it again this year, but they didnt... TT_TT
Guess I wont be having my calendar for this year...

Winter Break, Cons, and Cosplay!

Hmmmmm... it's been a while since i've posted anything......
Well anyways, stuff thats happened since the last time I posted: Wii is awesome; finished Zelda and it was awesome, and not to mention that Midna is sooo awesome and pretty.
Christmas was cool, I got a video ipod from my uncle which was totally unexpected cause since I had an ipod nano I was fine with just that, but this is also a plus :D.
New years was fun, we went to a friends house and had a Wii party. It was fun. Especialy when I KOed 4 guys at boxing... hehehe...
Classes start in, like, a week and a half now... ugh...

I'll most likely be going to Katsucon and Otakon this year again, though i'm never actually sure if I can or am able to go but its most likely that I am.
And this year I am actually more into cosplay.

Moriyama Nayuta from Shingu
This one is not a for sure cosplay yet cause my friend said she wanted to cosplay as Setsuna (I haven't talked to her about this yet which is why its a pending cosplay for now). At that time I had no idea what this series was about so I looked it up, downloaded the episodes and started watching it. It's quite interesting, but i'm surprised not many people have heard of it even though its quite an old anime. So, me being one who looks for characters that have long black hair, saw her and thought I could cosplay as her so me and my friend could do a group (well, more like 2 person) cosplay. ~~(Yes, I do mean you Holly if you ever read this, which is most likely not, but maybe).~~

Another not very well known series that is very good... in my opinion anyways.

Now, if I ever get this started and finished, it will be (for now, but probably will be) my first crossplay!

weeeellll...... we really did nothing... ummmmmm... we went to another mall, pretty nice, standard mall (i think, i dont really remember now that i think about it... damn memory), then we went back to the first mall we visited (the one with the open CPK inside the mall), shopped a bit, my mom met up with a few of her coworker's family who lives in Georgia and owns a few food places in the mall food court (and they gave us free smoothies which were really</> good.
aaaaand thats about all we did that day... yup.

Now today was a good day cause we went to the aquarium today!!! its the largest aquarium in the world (or something like that). they've got whale sharks, beluga whales, otters, penguins, and a lot of other fishes and animals.
then we went to the World of Coca-Cola museum. they had all these different coke bottles from around the world and a lot of vintage coke stuff. then we got to drink some different coke samples and other sodas, and then, in the next room, you could try different types of sodas from all around the world. the apple soda and leeche nut soda (from Taiwan or China or someother asian place) was really good... yummm...

Day 2
Happy 4th of July!
and what a crappy one at that
we went to go visit Emory University this morning. and man, its a damn nice campus. my sister's friend gave us a small tour around the campus and it was nice except for the fact that it was way hot and i dislike the heat... ugh...
went back to the hotel for a little rest. then we headed to this park/amusment park on a mountain where they have a laser show every night. we were going to go see the fireworks and laser show there but it was extremly crowded and then it started to rain so we just turned back around and left. so, yup, 8 bucks to sit and wait for nothing and only getting a short look at the mountain.
went back to the hotel again and then went out to dinner at this diner which was, like, way too fancy to be a diner. all the waiters were dressed up in suits and the inside looked like its on a cruise ship. oh, yea, and when our waiter asked what kind of ice water we would like he said: "...would you like bottled water or Georgia's finest?" hehehehe... well, i thought it was funny...
we finished, went to a parking lot to watch the fireworks but they never really happened while we were waiting. it started to thunder and rain so, again, we just went back. and that was it.
oh! and last night, when i was in the middle of typing this the power suddenly went out. so i stopped typing and went to sleep instead. except there was this damn beeping noise that was coming from outside and it was soooooo annoying i couldn't sleep. but then after a while it stopped and i fell asleep.

Day 0
VACATION!! Atlanta, Georgia this year! pretty warm down here.... not fond of heat... ugh. but its ok. early morning rise, 11 hour dive, and we're there. we went out to eat at this pretty nice restaraunt. it has this HUGE, giant fish out front and valet parking only (though most places here have valet parking). the funny thing is that if you have a REALLY nice looking car they park it out/near the front/where everyone can see them so other people can see all the nice looking cars (which i think is really funny).

Day 1
First full day! Morning: breakfast was ok, standard stuff at a Holiday Inn breakfast. later we went to a mall which had a California Pizza Kitchen out in the open inside the mall, which sorta means that if you go to the level above, you can look down into the restaurant/ place where you sit and eat. it was cool. then we went to another mall that was, like, really fancy. then we drove round a bit looking at all the nice houses in the neighbor hood, and let me tell you, there are some really nice houses here... and a lot of really nice cars to (not that i would know a whole lot cause im not really interested in cars). then we went back to our hotel to wait for dinner time.
Dinner: we went to this REALLY nice and fancy restaurant thats on top of a hotel (72nd floor to be precise). and since it was on top of a hotel and really high up, the floor of the seating area moves around in a circle (slowly of course) so that you can see ALL around, it was awesome. and their strawberry daiquiri was extremely good (plus you get to keep a glass that the daiquiri came in).

arg! stupid computer...
since my computers internal clock wasnt right i wasnt able to get on LJ for like... a while...

so anyways, Katsucon is coming up in a little more then 2 weeks and i cant wait!
and i have decided that i am going to cosplay. (weee!)
ive always wanted to cosplay but i was either too lazy to make it or too lazy to go out and look for the stuff i need, but either way i was just too lazy

oh, yes, btw, Happy Belated Chinese New Year!

her name is Tohsaka Rin from the anime Fate/Stay Night (awesome anime by the way)
im cosplaying her casual outfit. i just need to sew the cross on, adjust the size of the shirt, and fix the bottom of the shirt and then ill be done!
im also wanting to cosplay her in her school uniform ~~but im currently still searching for a beige vest like the one shes wearing...~~ my friend is helping me make a vest so now i still gotta do the linnings of the blouse and do the ribbon...

so, for like the past week, my mind has been filled with nothing but finishing my cosplay outfit, school, and finishing my cosplay outfit... yup... yea...

Yes! i got the new Mario DDR game for GC!
DDR is awesome... the songs are ok, but theres only, like, one song (so far) that i really like.
overalll, the regular DDR games are better, if i had a PS2 i would sooo get the other DDR games but sadly i dont. i only got the Mario DDR game cause its DDR and its on GC (which i have).

Houshin Engi was sooooo good!!! (just finnished reading it) i cant believe thats the end of the series... and it was soooo good!!!! TT.TT Fukki version Taikoubou is awesome (then again so is Outenkun, evil is awesome), and i just love their outfits, sooo awesome... nyohohohoho-ok im done
