I got into watching To Aru Kagaku no Railgun which is good but I'm not a big yuri fan much less a loli yuri fan but putting that aside it's an alright series. I got caught up in that so now I'm watching To Aru Majutsu no Index.

I was working on my Dan wig and I have no clue what I'm doing. So YAY FOR WINGING IT! AND HERE'S TO AN EARLY "GODDAMN IT, I MESSED UP...."
KANPAI!

One more day of classes and then I'm done for the week. Ugh... I dun wanna goooooooooo...
Then DC trip on Wed.
Then Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I wonder what we're going to do this year... Last year we stayed out shopping till 6 in the morning. That was fun. :D

I sorta don't feel like doing Juvia any more (... >.>) and have instead decided to do VIRGO instead.
So since I can't figure out any other charas that have light blue shaggy-ish hair, I'll probably just sell the wig I have.

It's a Scruffy-L in Light Blue from Cosworx (which is the exact same one this cosplayer is wearing). It's been washed and only worn for, like, 10 mins just to try it on. Never actually worn at all. Let me knowwwww...
Oh and if anyone else wants it too let me know. :D

When nice fabrics that comes in many different colors goes on sale, I just had to bite and thus I'm now working on another cosplay.
The outfit itself should be fairly easy.
Except for the wig.
It's intimidating... since I've barely actually styled a wig before...

Fun-key. 8P (Not doing this outfit btw, doing his default one. Though this one is quite cool too...)
And I would like to work on it asap, except, I WANT DISCOUNTS. 8|
OH, and btw, don't order thread on just picture comparison alone. Especially if it has the word NEON in it... 8|

I got my Uni boots last week. I was afraid it wasn't gonna fit, but it actually fits pretty nicely. Comfortable and easy to walk in. Then again, that also might be because I put insoles in as soon as I got them out of the box...
The only thing about them is that they are lace up boot that also have a zipper which I'm guessing is to save time of having to re-lace them every time you wear them. EXCEPT the things to hold the laces on the leg part are hook things instead of holes to put the laces through, so when you go to unzip and take the boots off, all the laces come off... :(
Not cool Funtasma, not cool.

Sawako from Kimi ni Todoke is just begging for me to cosplay her. I got a wig I could use (which reminds me, you still have it right Karen? And my Maka coat too. Don't think I need it anytime soon, but just makin' sure. :D) just need to figure out what outfit to do. Uniform? Some other outfit she wears? An artwork outfit? Hmmmm...

I've been playing Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Ages again cause I got a sudden OMG NOSTALGIAAAAAAA after reading the manga...

I got the Moyashimon manga here and after reading it it made me want to watch the anime again, which I did, which then made me want to cosplay Okama!Kei again... :x

First episode was alright. Not too awesome, but pretty good.
Magic effects were pretty cool.
I don't really like Happy's voice. :(
I mean, I got nothing against Kugumiya Rie, but Happy just didn't seem like one with a high pitched voice imo... :/

Ok, so the ending of the 07-Ghost anime wasn't as bad as I thought (or could have been).
BUT I BETTER GET A GODDAMN SECOND SEASON CAUSE THEY OBVIOUSLY CANNOT JUST LEAVE IT AT THAT. >:(!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and Luce's dress is practically done. Just need to hem the bottom and finish some seams.

Ah, and Tegami Bachi OVA was really cute, a little sad, but cute. And it's always the CGI + hand drawn animation that looks kinda weird together IMO, but it wasn't bad.

Watched the final episode of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 last night and, man, was it good. Though, those types of things always make me go BAWWWWWWWW TT_TT and then I get a headache all day today... :/

I ordered some patterns online from this site I stumbled upon (sewingpatterns.com) and it seemed ok at first and they were having a sale on simplicity patterns for 2.99 each. So I ordered and a week and couple days went by where I didn't hear anything from them so I was starting to worry it wasn't such a good site to order things from... And then on Thursday I get an email saying my order was shipped and then I go check the tracking thing on my package today and found that it was already delivered. And sure enough it was there. From Cali to Maryland in 2 days is quite fast. So I open it and theres this little message from the site ppl saying that my order was delayed cause they got an overwhelming response to their Simplicity sale and some patterns were sold out. So I think I might order from them again if they have any good sales.

We went to this really nice restaurant for my moms b-day for dinner today and I basicly got free dinner and dessert. :D They have reeeally good food and the first time we went there was for my cousins rehearsal dinner for her wedding. I got their Fillet Mignon then and asked for it to be well done except the one they gave me wasn't really well done and was still quite pink in the middle. :/ Never the less, it was still reeeeally good. It was nice and juicy and tender mmmmmmmmmmm... So, today, I got their Oven Roasted Half Chicken (which was really only 1/4 of a chicken since all I got was a breast and leg, no thigh or wing). Now, the breast was good, nice flavor and all, but the leg wasn't even cooked at all. So we told them and they were very sorry so they took the entree off the check which was nice of them and what they should do. And then after we order dessert, I think it was the manager who came up to us, apologized for the chicken and said that the entree and everything after dinner will be on the house which included the desserts and coffee which was really nice of them. So all together that was, like, 40$ off the check which was pretty good. :D

Totally messed up on my art project where I didn't fully tape off a section so I got paint where there isn't suppose to be any. D: So now I have to do the whole thing over again... Ugh... D:

Finished Momohime's alternate ending. Now to aquire all 108 blades. 90 something/108. Almsot there! Then to try it in Shura mode!

Been researching on how to work with upholstery foam (thank you fur suit forms :D) so I can (hopefully) be able to make a nice round and smooth hat-of-doom for Uni/Luce that won't be heavy either.

So, on a matter of Luce, I need your opinions ppl.

This is the pattern I'm using and I can't decide whether to do:
View D: Sleeveless (straps)
or
View A: Half sleeves kinda thing
(Don't mind the skirt part, I just need an opinion on the sleeves)
I was originally gonna do view D, since I didn't want sleeves in case I get hot or something, but I don't want my shoulders showing from between the strap and the cape thing Luce wears. Ya know what I mean? Yes? No? Maybe? Well, just give me an opinion on which one would look better, plz!

OOOO! And I also bought this really cute small, rectangular basket so I can put cookies in for Katsu! XD

So finally I went out and bought the US/english version of 07-Ghost manga and as I was reading it I noticed there were certain parts that I just didn't remember reading about in the scanlation version. At first, I just brushed it off as being something that I just didn't remember since I read it a while ago. But now, there was this one part I just didn't get at all and went to go look at that part in the scanlation version online only to find out that that particular scene never actually occurred in the scanlation version. o.O So then I go back to another chapter and compare the manga to the scanlations and sure enough, there was an extra page or two that wasn't in the scanlation. So I guess the mangakas decided to add, like, 2-4 pages of extra info in a few chapters for the book release that was never in the magazine release.
I was totally, like, 'whoa man, this... never really happened to me before in all of the manga I've read...' that or I just never noticed at all... >.>

Dude, Muramasa totally kicks ass and is sooooooooo awesome. Finished Momohime's story, Kisuke's story (was it me or did his story seem a lot shorter? I mean, you didn't even need to go to Omi at all...), and Kisuke's alternate ending (which was so funny imo). Working on Momohime now and beating all of Kisuke's bosses and then to her alternate ending.

I got a new mattress last week after, like, 20 years of my old one (yes, thats since i was born/was able to sleep in a bed). It's really squishy and bouncy. :D

So yea, I held out on posting anything till I actually did anything productive.

A newsboy/Tegami Bachi-esq hat.
Just trying out the pattern with some extra fabric I had lying around.
Messed up where the top part and brim/band meet, but now I know not to iron it flat cause I want it go out not up.
And make the brim wider and a little shorter maybe.
Looked at some stuff to do the bee design, but haven't made a final decision yet.
I actually tried making it a four-panel hat, but it didn't really work out too well...

Sorry for OMGBLINDINGFLASH!

So yea, Tegami Bachi ppl (specifically the Tegami Bachi's) I can make the hats for you. And thats really only Karen and Rob, right?

Our neighbors are on vacation for about 3 weeks so we are currently taking care of their dog who is one hyperactive and crazy dog.
Her name is Yuki, but we call her Crazy Yuki because, well, she's crazy. She's always wanting attention, she always jumps and runs around everywhere whenever she's outside, and she's always bothering Fred which he finds annoying and always runs away whenever shes near.

She like's to stretch out her hind legs when she lies down.

And Fred, who doesn't like Yuki.

IS TOKYO MAGNITUDE 8.0 GONNA BE SUMMER'S HIGASHI NO EDEN?!?!??
FIRST EPISODE WAS QUITE EPIC IMO.

I finally bucked up the courage to actually take my very first wig out of the bag its been residing in for the past 2 years. I was scared to even look at it cause after wearing it at the con it got suuuuuper tangled and I didn't bother trying to brush it after cause I didn't have a wig head back then. So yea, it was a big mess, but I combed it out and washed it so now its better. Now that I look at it, the quality of the fibers really is not all that great compared to, like, cosworxs quality. :/
Now I have no clue what to do with a long (I think it's an Alicia XL) silver white wig...

All good things must come to an end

Thank god I didn't have to wait too long for them to finish putting the whole series online.
And I'm damn sad I can't find the anime in Japanese, subtitled, online. D:

Fairy Tail is damn good too, similar to Rave. And then there's Sieg being one big fan service by showing up everywhere... And Natsu being like a mix of Haru (being the goofy main chara kid) and Let (the dragon part). And Leon looking very much like Let.

And I've noticed that Mashima Hiro has quite a theme going on with his works:

The main male characters are usually this goofy kid who's always gung-ho on fighting
The main male characters are all named after seasons (Haru- Spring [Rave], Natsu- Summer [Fairy Tail], Aki- Autumn [Monster Soul], and Shiki- Four seasons [Monster Hunter Orage]. Fuyu [winter in Japanese] might be a little odd for a male name which is probably why he used Shiki in his most latest work)
Most women in his works all have big boobs...

Summer anime has started! Nothing really majorly interesting for now as I never really heard of any of them, but ones I might try are:

So my friend is going to South Korea for a month next week and her boyfriend wanted to throw a not-so-surprise going away party (not-so-surprise being that she already knew since he sucks at keeping secrets) today at the nearby regional park.
Shortly after we got there it started raining a bit.
And a bit more.
And a bit more.
And then it was pouring.
It sucked.
Luckily, the storm went away after a bit, but was left with slightly wet clothes and a huge puddle of water on one side of the pavilion. It looked tempting to jump in, but it was muddy...
Then the sun came out so we got to work on starting the grill.
The only thing the boys were good for was to light the charcoal and get the fire going. I was the one who had to put the foil on the grill so that it would stay on and I was the one who ended up doing most of the grilling.
Unfortunately, since I didn't know it was going to be sunny outside and since I didn't know I was going to be the one grilling, I didn't put any sun screen on so I got a bit of a sunburn on my chest and arms... D:

Then, after that, we went canoeing. Me and two of my girl friends in one canoe and two of my guy friends in another. After a while, we decided to race each other to see who could get to the shore the fastest, but apparently the boys were paddling too fast and their boat flipped. It would have been funnier, but one of the boys doesn't know how to swim so he was really freaking out (and of course he had on a life vest). So all three of us girls had to calm him down as the boys hung onto the sides of our boat while we waited for the boat people to come.
That was quite an eventful boat ride I must say and the funny thing was that we were joking to each other about taking our cell phones in case we need to call someone to help us (which we had to do when the boys flipped) and one of my girl friends was joking about how she just wanted to jump into the lake for fun...

Then we went bowling and my nail chipped cause of the bowling ball and my arm mussels hurt cause of bowling. D:

OH, and all this week I've been reading The Groove Adventure Rave (aka Rave Master aka Rave). God is it good. Not like, OMFGSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGOODINEEDMORERIGHTNAO good, but it's really good. :3

So I did nothing but read manga all week.
First it started with FMA after watching the latest episode earlier this week. I wanted to see how similar the anime was to the manga so I started from where the anime left off and just kept on reading...
And then I read 07-Ghost, and caught up on Pandora Hearts, and then after I finished that I got bored and started to look for other manga to read. Forgot where I left off in Kaichou wa Maid-sama! so I picked a place in the middle and read from there... >.> Then I read Cage of Eden, Usagi Drop, Kimi ni Todoke, Kyoukai No Rinne, Urooboe Uroboros, Hello Baby, Shinobi Life, Kyou Koi Wo Hajimemasu... and I think thats it...

Went to the Coach outlet in Virginia today and my god, was it crowded (though it's actually always cause they're always having some kinda sale year round). There were ladies who had huge bags full and arms full of purses. It was quite crazy. I got a new purse though!

I also got a new phone today! Wasn't dying to get a new phone, but my 2 year upgrade was aplicable so we went and got a new one anyways.
It's pretty sweet. Full keyboard thingy and such. I can still keep my cell phone straps and charm thingys so it's all cool.
